About Me

Hello, my name is Kristi. I have been a Scentsy representative for a little over a year now. I am new to the blogging world but I wanted to  be able to share my knowledge and experiences.

My journey with Scentsy began when my husband was doing a job for my (now) sponsor. She gave him a Scent Circle and a catalog to bring home to me. Let me back up first and say that I had never really heard of Scentsy prior to this. I had received a catalog back around Christmas time in 2009 from a neighbor and I just glanced at it and threw it away. I'm guessing I did that because we have two teenage boys and it was so close to Christmas that I couldn't even think of spending money on myself. Anyway, back to the story of how I began. I looked at the catalog my husband brought home and was very impressed and intrigued by the Scentsy catalog. I thought it was a very cool concept. I have been an absolute candle fanatic for many, many years. What a great idea, a candle warmer and so many scents to choose from. The warmers were amazing, they had warmers for every decor. I woke up the next day and all I could think about was Scentsy's products. I thought to myself, I'm not a sales person but wow, I know so many people who would fall in love with these products. I called the lady my husband did the job for and asked her how to sign up. I signed up that night online and within a week I got my starter kit. I could not believe everything that came in that kit for only $99! My sister came over and I'm not kidding you, we spent the next 4 hours smelling the 80 scent testers that came in my kit. There was my first customer, my sister could not wait to do a party and place an order for herself.

I will never forget my first experience. I got a Candy Shoppe warmer in my kit along with a bar of Green Tea Smoothie. I immediately plugged it in, in the kitchen like a kid that just got the most awesome Christmas present ever. Within minutes my entire family could smell Green Tea Smoothie from anywhere in the house. We all instantly fell in love and I knew I had just stumbled on to the new love of my life!

I didn't sign up with any expectations of getting rich quick, nor did I really look at it as though I had just started my own business. I just loved the product and wanted to share it with everyone I knew. My personality has never been very outgoing, I've generally always been pretty shy. To fast forward over the next year.... I have grown my business beyond what I ever dreamed of. I have been so inspired by all the wonderful people involved with Scentsy and the company itself, what an amazing family that started Scentsy. I haven't been aggressive or pushy with selling my products, they really do sell themselves. I have shared my excitement with all of my friends and family and it has just snowballed from there. Now, just over a year after signing up I have very high expectations and very big dreams of where my business can go. The sky is the limit for me and I'm reaching for it all!

On a more personal note, I have always been a stay at home mom. I have been married for almost 12 years and we have two wonderful teenage sons. My husband has always been self employed, so Scentsy has fit my lifestyle perfectly.
